Our story

It started with a paintbrush and a queue of small faces

Long before there were books, there were show days. The Wish Faeries began as face painters at show days, painting small faces one wish at a time.

  1. 2000 · The Hawkesbury ShowThe Wish Faeries face painters set up at the Hawkesbury Show, and have been part of show days ever since.
  2. Today · a storyverseThose wishes grew into a whole realm by Leilani Maree: faerie and mer groups who weigh every wish, Dark Fae who challenge them, a lore library, and books for children to read and colour.
